Do something different and explore Latin for fun in the Arnos Vale cafe.
Dr Amy Coker (University of Liverpool) will be running a series of very informal drop-in sessions. Explore Latin the easy way with puzzles and games with an Arnos Vale theme. Amy will show you how Latin works and you will learn some of the basics.
Latin is still used in inscriptions and gravestones, and you will be amazed by what learning some Latin shows you about English, and how many of the words we use today come from Latin.
Latin Cafe will run on the following dates: 31st March, 28th April, 26th May and 23rd June!
Everyone is welcome so please just turn up on the day and have a go! No knowledge of Latin is needed! All ages are welcome and most activities are suitable for those aged 8+ years.
