Belfast boy Ryan McDonnell is no stranger to laughs in his home town and is currently building up quite a reputation for himself on the UK comedy circuit. Ryan interjects a sharp wit and Irish charm in his observation of everyday life. Sometimes bizarre, often dark he’ll guide you on a unique journey through the world as he sees it. 2010 saw Ryan make his debut at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in the prestigious Pleasance Courtyard from which critics at Three Weeks acclaimed his stand-up as “Apollo quality live comedy”.

“Hi, I’m Mandy – and I do tricks!” is how the one and only Mandy Muden introduces herself. Described as like “Alison Steadman playing a beauty consultant doing Tommy Cooper-style magic – but without the fez”, Mandy would take that as a compliment. With an act made for the digitally-enhanced age, Mandy has audiences astounded with both the brilliance of some (certainly not all) of her magic and in hysterics at her off-the-cuff one-liners and observations.

Headline Comedian – Sean Meo

Despite looking like he’s just stepped out of a Kays catalogue, Sean Meo has actually been a professional stand-up since 1989. Before that, like his namesake Tony, he was a full time snooker player and was a quarter finalist in the English Championships of 1987. Since then, he has risen to the very top of the UK comedy scene and is much in demands as both a stand-up and a writer.
On television, he has worked alongside and with such diverse names as Clive James, Jack Docherty and Jimmy Tarbuck and appeared on everything from Des O’Connor Tonight, Celebrity Squares, and Talking Telephone Numbers, to Talking About Sex for Channel 4.
