With the summer season approaching and festival season coming up fast live music is on everybody’s tongue, and linked heavily with this is OFFICIAL live music at The Office Nightclub, Truro.
OFFICIAL is a live music night that runs fortnightly and in this showcase instalment on FRIDAY 22nd JUNE there are 3 quality bands that will have the dance floor packed and customers hanging off the newly built stage.
Bands playing are
LEST WE FORGET are a five piece rock pop band with an edge, they mix rock, pop, soul and twist to create an amalgamation of sounds that combine perfectly like a dirty cocktail. The band will keep you on your feet with a host of covers and original tracks.
CONVEX – winners of last years battle of the bands in The Office as part of Music Truro 2011. A three piece that push the boundaries as a grunge influenced rock band drawing their influences from the likes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters & Queen’s of the Stoneage.
THE TAGS with an indie rock set that should have the walls bouncing and your hips shaking. Their set of new tunes and a small amount of covers are the perfect balance of new and old and in this venue sound will be unparalleled.
The doors will open at 9pm with bands going on at around 10pm – as stated over 16s are welcome to the event however ID will be required – tickets are available still from Zafiros Bar or Frixon Sports Shop in Truro for only £3 whereas entry on the door will be £5.
There are plenty of drinks promos to give you the dutch courage to dance so don’t miss out on being a part of what The Office are trying to create in Truro.
