1) fuller’s discovery - cold, on richmond green in the summer
2) well kept london pride, downed quickly, probably in the queen’s arms, south ken
3) turbo snakebite - half pride, half weston’s old rosie cloudy cider, double vodka top, imperial college union bar

I’ve always found Samuel Smith’s Ayingerbrau tastes like feet if it’s the first pint of the night.

i like at least a pint of wine when i get home. preferably tesco half pricer, with a ready meal and some florentines. exorbitant, conventient, and ulitmately deadly

Summer Lightning, but I’m not sure where you can get it reliably except in the Sultan in South Wimbledon.
Otherwise, and I’m almost ashamed to admit it, the best pint of Guinness I’ve had in the last few months was from the Wetherspoons/Lloyds/whatever it is this week on Charing Cross Road.

Try a place in covent garden called POTTER HOUSE. You can taste beers from all over the world. Try a CASTLE, I’m bias cos its South African. ENJOY!!!!

You folk seem to be more or less exclusively bitter drinkers - excluding the saffer Castle fan - but the Crown and Two Chairmen in Soho does Budvar Black on tap (occasionally). If any of you have had Samuel Adams, Kirin Ichiban or Asahi Black you’ll know what I’m on about: very dark lager with a bit of sweetness to it. Very quaffable.

I had a wonderful pint of Deuchars IPA at the Lamb, Lamb’s Conduit Street, the other week. Deuchars is a wonderful pint, but this was just gorgeous. Liquid heaven, and all that.
And, it is a great pub!

It is indeed. I am often in there popping my head through the snob screens… the ploughmans isn’t bad either.
