Have any of you other Mancunian Qypers been for a curry in The Standard in higher rd , Urmston. Well if not check it out as the food is great and also the price and they give you complimentary popadoms and beer or whatever you are drinking. The decor and exterior is very traditional and even old fashioned but look past that and you will be very pleasantly surprised. I lived in London for 18 years so have quite a lot of experience of different curry houses and this one stands up with the best .There is a very varied selection of dishes so dont have to stick with the one you know. Enjoy
