Menu is average, food ok but nothing special. Specials do not include rice which starts to make them look a bit pricey.

Fantastic! Right next to paultons park. It is very child friendly and the food is really very good. Local produce and meat from local butcher.. Service very good also. Would highly recommend.

Since, my last review. Things have really improved. Free wi-fi, better choice of lagers, superb guest ales, friendly staff and good food! Lovely place to be!!

Lovely decor and a good menu. I paid £12 for a burger which seems a bit steep. The shoe-fries were undercooked, the burger was beautifully cooked and presented but a bit bland.

This place is a little gem. The Chef is clearly very talented and his dishes are exquisite with beautiful presentation. It is well priced, especially if you go for a set menu which at £12 for 2 courses is a steal. The only thing stopping me give it 5 stars is the service. Although very friendly, it could do with being a little bit more professional to match the food. Eg. topping up wine glasses, serving the water rather than just placing the bottles on the table, and I felt we were waiting a little too long for orders to be taken ie you felt you had to catch her attention when you needed something.

This restaurant is simply fabulous. The chef is a genius! It is expensive, but well worth it. To be honest the food is well priced, but the drinks make it an expensive night out. But the cellar here is also fabulous, so you can not help yourself but treat yourself on the beverage front too. However, there is not an awful lot of choice below the £100 a bottle range, but perhaps there shouldn't be with a restaurant of this quality.

The service was attentive but not intrusive, the sommelier was knowledgeable and therefore was first rate in my opinion.

They always cook the fish to order to ensure it is fresh. The portion sizes are generous when compared to local competitors. Defo the best fish and chips in a 5 mile radius in my opinion.

Mike runs his business with passion. He only recommends and sells products which work and will stay clear of cheap rubbish. Hence he is a little pricier but worth the money. His installers are fantastic, great service and they do the job right!
