Yummy chain of bakeries specialising in teas, cakes and tantalising treats and packaging which lure you in as you walk past.
While the fairy cakes are be.a.utiful you may be a little bit over the cliché of buying a box of these. The home made loaves are equally delicious and come in a beautiful gift tin for an affordable, eatable, gift.

You’re in safe hands here with the both the bar, and their fantastic cocktail making skills, and the kitchen no matter what time of day you’re after something to eat (Sunday brunch is as good as Saturday dinner)

Undecided on this place. Good location, great choice of speciality beers but the night I went staff were grumpy, there was nowhere to sit in the patio area (even though I’d brought a group down by arrangement) and it was suggested we stand in the car park by the stinking bins.
This was worsened by the broken toilets and for some reason one of my party heading off to buy ice for the bar (I still don’t understand why).
Willing to try it again but wouldn’t recommend anyone head there with high expectations. There are other places in Borough…

The thing I loved most about this place was just sitting down and having loads of delicious veggie food brought to me without having to make a single decision.
The food was fantastic and I loved the kooky decor. Not sure if there is a cheaper evening option though, I literally just sat down and they gave us the set menu.

This is somewhere that I really want to like but after two visits I’m convinced the service and food are just not worth a third attempt no matter how good the location.
Service is slow and unfriendly and, as a vegetarian, the menu is absent of anything tempting. An over-priced, over-dressed green salad just did not cut it. In fact the smell of chip grease which permeated my clothes from the open plan kitchen was more appetising.

People can get really down on vegan restaurants and although I’m a veggie I hardly ever eat at exclusively vegetarian restaurants because, you know, sometimes I don’t want soya dairy and meat substitute.
Despite the abundance of words like “seitan”, “tofu”, and “soya cottage cheese” on the menu this place is great. The flavours were amazing, an interesting blend of asian and afro-caribbean style food. I was with a carnivorous person who loved it too. We swapped dishes back and forth trying as much as possible but will definitely be back to sample other items on the menu.
The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars was the cost and the hideous organic wine (which is standard with organic wines).

Slightly hit and miss. After having to ask for champagne glasses to drink champagne from (as opposed to tumblers) and the rest of the food to be brought for my overpriced platter (they insisted it was just olives and hummus) they pulled it out the bag by spending the rest of the evening serving some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.
Agreeing we’d got off to a bad start my friend returned a week later only to be served warm beer and a cold reception.
It’s tough when little gastro pubs like this get the basics wrong. With the Sunday cinema upstairs we were ready to get attached.

Finding restaurants can be just like house-hunting, it’s all about location.
Nestled amongst the super yachts The Dickens Inn looks dubious from the outside but is actually a great place for drinks and/or a meal.
There’s some quite pricey places in St Katherine’s docks but a pizza from their upstairs pizza restaurant is reasonably priced with a cheap and cheerful wine list to match.
We sat next to the window with a great view of the water, next time I hope to nab a spot on the balcony.

Agree with pretty much everyone here. I think the best thing going for this pub is the location and the fact it doesn’t seem to get too busy during the after work rush. I stumbled upon it randomly a week before the Qype party when a friend and I were looking for a place to grab a quick drink.
Thought the function room was a nice venue and would consider using it myself for work events, but would probably think hard before ordering food except for the wedges which, to be honest, is always the safe option in any pub.

Don’t be put off by the ‘Catering’ word in this listing. It’s one of the nicest Indian restaurants and takeaway delivery services I’ve ever had.
The menu is innovative and the food so tasty. I found myself not really eating any other Indian style food as I only craved Origin Asia.
The restaurant’s nice enough, but a little bit out of the way. If you live in this part of London I suggest you just plump for a delivery.
Great choice for vegetarians as well.
