Great for a variety of sausages or homemade pies. A bit pricey but generous portions and a bit of the price is about buying into the atmosphere. It’s probably great on any other day, but the day I visited the waitress was very surly, so that’s why I’ve given only 3 stars. Also visit Mother Mash near Carnaby Street if you like this type of place.

Looks like a greasy spoon but isn’t really. All food is homemade including the pies. I had a shepherds pie with chips and gravy which was delicious. Great prices too. Items vary from sarnies all under £2, baguettes, all-day breakfasts and wholesome cooked food. Probably good visit for a hangover too. And they do take away. Great.

I’ve visited this branch of Strada several times and the service can be very hit and miss. The first time, the staff was attentative and friendly, but it may have had something to do with the fact that we were a family. The other times (just 2 of us) the service was slow, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a menu, then another 15 minutes for the wine we ordered.
However, the food is always fresh and good quality (Seabass - delicious, Fillet steak - melt in the mouth). It’s a shame the service lets it down.

Great place for fresh, fast Italian pasta, pizza or salad. The concept means you collect a card at the door and swipe when you place an order. Saves you waiting for the bill if you’re in a rush at lunchtime.
Two downsides to this place are, it can be noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic meal or special occasion.
Second, if you want to add or remove ingredients on the menu (ie: add salami on a pizza that doesn’t have it, whereas they have it on another) so I would be wary if you have any special dietary requirements (or fussy eater!) Other than that it’s good value for money.
Oh and there’s free sweets on the way out!

Ate there yesterday lunchtime. Staff are always friendly, but service was slow. As mentioned before, quite close seating, and they have now added a long 'Wagamama’ style table in the middle of the restaurant to fit more people in for the lunchtime rush. I’ve had a few tasty meals here before, but the Fungi Pasta I ate yesterday was tasteless and I had to ask the next table for some salt to add to it. I also think it’s over priced for the quality, which is a shame as it started out with really fresh, tasty ingredients, and now it seems like they’re more interested in getting the punters in.
However, I do rate their Cappucino Milano, one of the best in the area.

Great plaice! Ha ha. No really, this restaurant (one of a few dotted around London) is ideal is you love fresh seafood. Fishmongers at the front, cosy restaurant in the back. Go early to avoid dissapointment as it’s always busy and fully booked. You can pick your fish from a fresh, constantly changing, selection and have it grilled/baked/fried however you wish.
Oysters, mussels, lobsters and of course Fruit de Mare (seafood mix platter) are all available too.
The restaurant has been revamped since visiting last and has toned down the bright blue wall and paintings to a more calm green paneling and classic black and white photos of Brixham (where the fish is caught). They have failed to tart up the corridor and steps down to the toilets, which is a shame as it’s starting to look grubby.
The service is pleasant but a little forced at times, and the open counter where they prepare drinks is too open for staff to argue (a little). The table next to ours had to wait for one of their starters but we had no complaints about timing, even when we ordered a dressed Dartmouth crab.
Overall I think this a very pleasant night out, but maybe save it for a special occasion because of the price.

I have visited this particular branch a number of times. The girls are friendly, but sometimes the quality of waxing can be a bit hit or miss. They do offer a half price discount after you have visited several times, but recently the prices have gone up and it doesn’t reflect the quality you would expect. You can find a better price at some salons near Soho or just off Regent Street.

Reasonably price authentic Thai restaurant, set in a converted pub. Friendly staff with lovely food, with fresh ingredients and lots of flavour. Spiciness varying from mild to quite hot. Recommend for after work relaxed drinking and a meal.
