Called in today to get out of the rain whilst waiting for the train.
I was pleasantly surprised at the large amount of great quality of local product available.
More than just maps, they had free samples of food’s, relishes, sauces and drinks. Local books, art work and most helpfully socks and gloves as mine were soaked from walking in the Fells.
Brilliant shop and helpful information staff.

Tried this trip with Destination Cumbria, part of their Holiday deals the kids went for £20 each.
Everything was possible, nothing was a problem.
Would recommend them every time.

A rather large stable, good sessions for the kids, 1hr or 2hr rides at reasonable prices.

One of the best Horse Trekking spots in the Lake District. Prices very reasonable and they cater for all ages and abilities.
Absolutely perfect.

Stoney Croft Gill, wonderful little scramble for all the family. £30 - £40 per person, but have family deals.

Great 3hr sessions, the Instructor developed the kids skills so they were running down the hills in no time.
Minimum age is 8 i think.
