The train station is the start of an amazing journey in beautiful wood-panelled carriages through Mallorcan countryside to the town of Soller where you can get off, wander round then take the tram to Porto Soller. If you buy a one-way ticket you can get the bus all the way back to Palma from Porto - saving money and time as well as the chance to see a different view of the island!
