Great Friday night bar, overlooking the covent garden markets you can enjoy a drink while watching the buskers below, it is always busy but you never feel overcrowded and the service is always quite quick. The atmosphere here is great it is a business mans bar on a firday and touristy on theweekends, a great central meeting point before heading out in the city.

Comedy is a great night out in London and cheaper than the theatre and this would be one of the best i have been too, always funny comedians and to complete the night the food is pretty good too.

Spitalfields markets is right near brick lane so good to go too before heading there for a meal, much the same as the clothes you get a portobello not quite as crowded though i have found and more clothing focused. There are an array of street performers around the market as well which keep the kids and adults alike entertained.

I have been to this South African restaurant twice now the service is fantastic and the food delicious. If you are not into game meats there is still plenty on the menu to enjoy the meals are huge however be prepared to pay for it you are looking at around £17 a main. However if the finish there steak you do win a free t shirt !! and when you get the bill you get to have a shot of there local spirit which is delicious.

If you dont like the big commercial gyms this is perfect, the staff are nice and it is a council facility which makes the price a bit cheaper. The pool is great for the kids and there is plenty of room for parents to watch or have a coffee at the cafe. The classes are never to full and the instructors encouraging

This is a great gallery and i am no art buff. Easy to navigate around at your leisure and its free. There is always something new to see. For children they have so much to offer with packs and activities it is a great family day out. The cafe there is tasty as well. But i would suggest going out and walking along the thames to find somewhere nice to eat.

This used to be a great old pub but they decided to do a refurb and seem to have missed that mark a little on the atmosphere stakes. The food is nice but environment and service really dont make up for the cost meals are about £10 up though they do have a range of mezze boards which are quite tasty. They have a piano man there week nights.

I took family to this museum when they were over for a visit, it is quite interesting and set up well for kids. It is quite interactive and the fire of london section is quite informative. I would not go back or say it is a must see but a great extra to add to the london experience. The cafe out the front of the museum had great cakes and coffee for afterward too !

This is the oldest pub in putney and has a great old english pub atmosphere. It offers a great range of Ales and the staff are fantastic a family feel. You can play a game of skittles which i must say is a lot harder than it looks (an old english pub game involving knocking down skittles with a small ball attached to a pole hard to describe but quite addictive). The food looks delicious though i havent tried it yet the Sunday roast is raved about.

the Boat House in Putney has a great view of the Thames, it has three split levels is always busy and has a great vibe. The food is nice here as well classy pub food ranging from about £9 up... and if you need to book you can for up to twenty on the top floor. Expect to pay good prices for drinks but they do have an extensive wine list and good range of spirits and cocktails. The service is great and you never seem to be waiting to long at the bar.
