On the whole a good friendly after work drinking spot. Efficient service and usually reasonable food; steak sandwiches and the white hot wedges are GREAT on a hangover lunchtime. There has been a bit of inconsistency with the food the odd time but it arrives fairly speedily.
Particularly good on nice days with a nice outside area and plenty of seating. Also got a large screen for sports, interesting when its a northern/southern hemisphere head-to-head as it's quite a gathering spot for antipodeans. Only drawback (if that isn't one! - only joking) can be the sometimes overly officious barstaff, but I guess they do have to deal with a few morons. They were at least pretty relaxed and understanding when one of our group threw up everywhere. Don't let that put you off though - it was outside!
Worth a visit, especially if you are in a large group and its a sunny day...and you are looking for wedges.
