Phoenix Bar - Inverness
106-110 Academy Street, Inverness, Highlands and Islands IV1 1LX

An old, traditional pub. It has two bars in the older part of the pub and Morgans is their restaurant. I prefer Morgans as it is more modern and the seating is more comfortable. Despite the change of management the staff are very friendly. I have been for lunch and dinner and the food is surprisingly good for a traditional pub. Overall a great place to eat and drink.

A popular butchers, I think they are the best in town. We have been to many butchers but the quality of the meat is better and they can advise you on how to cook it to its best. The staff are always friendly. They do meat packages at Christmas where you can order sausages, beef, turkey etc at a cheap price. We have had our meat from this butcher at Christmas and it had a very high standard. They are always my first choice.

This is a nice busy place. It can be crowded on a Saturday night. I have been here to eat and to drink and have enjoyed every visit. The food is good it is traditional pub food, they do great chips!
There are bands on every weekend as well, normally a traditional band but the entertainment can be quite good. It is great in the summertime where you can sit outside and have a beer.
Ash - Inverness

A bar/restaurant which links up to the hotel. The food is good but can be quite pricey. The bar has a lot of comnfy seats and they do a really good cocktail, normally quite expensive elsewhere but very reasonable. There is a good atmosphere within the bar. It is quite a modern bar as well and can be busy if there is an event on in the hotel.
Roller Bowl - Inverness

The only place in Inverness you can go Indoor Bowling. It is large and there is more than bowling you can do. There are arcade games, a fast food restaurant, a bar and pool tables.
I am not keen I have seen better bowling alleys in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Portsmouth.

A great place for arcade games and a fun fair for kids and big kids. There is plenty to do. You will need to bring a lot of money with you. There are plenty of rides to go on.
The funniest one is the Ghost Ride!It located near Pirate Petes and Wimpy. There is a lot of fun to be had. It does look outdated through!

The best fish and chips in Portsmouth! I love this place. It is a small fish and chips shop and it can get quite crowded. It is also a popular place. The food is excellent especially the cod.

An excellent Indian Restaurant with really good curry and good drink. We have been here plenty of times whilst we were in Portsmouth. It is located near the shops on Albert Road so you can find it easily. The staff are friendly and I enjoyed my stay.

A nice shopping centre with lots of alleys of clothes shop and boutiques. It has a food court which has a lot of choice of healthy food and not so healthy food.
The shops have a lot of choice the centre itself is starting to look outdated compare to the other shopping centres in town.
Carol's Cafe - Invergordon

A nice little cafe, a good place for chips and all things unhealthy! It is family run and is a good size. The food is good but a little greasy, not my cup of tea. They do a good cup of coffee. The staff are friendly and chatty. The cafe has a warm atmosphere.
