Hay que decir que se supone que éste es el mejor hotel de Huddersfield (la única competencia es Ainley Top, que es un tanto cutre). El personal tiene la actitud estirada de hotel grande pero al sitio le vendría bien un arreglo. El edificio en sí tiene un aspecto fantastico, debe haber sido construido a la vez que la preciosa estación de tren contigua. Caro. El restaurante cumple pero los hay mejores a poca distancia. Solía ser un bar público decente llamado Tudor, pero han cerrado la entrada pública.

Dire que cet hotel est l'hotel primo de Huddersfield - la seule vraie competition mais Ainley Top c'est un peu crade. Le personel est arrogant comme dans les grands hotels et l'endroit a besoin d'une renovation. Le batiment lui-meme est fantastique - Il a du etre construit en meme temps que la magnifique gare d'a cote. Cher. Le restaurant est correct mais il y en a de meilleurs pas tres loin. C'etait un bar public tres decent appelle le Tudor, mais ils ont ferme l'entree publique.

A bit hit and miss this place.Looks good and used to be and still is one of the top places for a take way but the stuff they give you to eat indoors is awful.Tasteless very oily and overoriced.They can not even get the bread right.Dirty glasses and surly service.I will not eat here again but I still get takeaways which are of course cheaper.

Always have fantastic deals on but you can not predict them one day bread the next day tinned raviolli.
Staples normally very cheap rice.bread -very good selection of fresh meats.Staff helpfull but language barrier/problems occasionally.Plenty of parking.They have a few different branches in Hudersfield.Can normally get everything you need.

Not a good branch which is a pain as it is my most local.Teething problems from day one that do not seem to get any better- they occassionally run out of things like mushrooms and tomatos -how is trhis possible? Own brand orange juice fantastic -especially Spanish one bread also the best you can buy.Also it is always packed and gewttign in and out is a pain.Cheap petrol but can you be bothered queuing.Has a good cafe and recycling facilites.

Smaller brother of the second branch in Huddersfield -the other one is been made even bigger.Handy if you just want to pop in for a loaf or a bottle etc.Rooftop car park which is never busy but is patrolled and I think you get ninety minutes free provided you prove you have shopped at Sainsburys.Used to be ABC cinema.Opening hours a bit rubbish does not open early and does not stay open late.Usual offers deals etc little on the small side but still stocks books and dvds

I know it is chain but I come here a lot so I can give you the gen.Really for people on the bus -it is next to the bus station.Beware the car park I know two people who have been stung here with parking fines one for parking here late at night.The car park is shared with other companies and operated by a company in Sheffield.Parkign is convienient.Bargain.Bargain.Dirt cheap but most of it frozen.Lots of deals on brand name bread and soft drinks.

Everyone bangs on about this place but it is not worth seeking out in my opinion.It is not even one of the best boozers in Holmfirth.It is not we are on a session type of place but the menu and general attituse comes across more like a restaurant in a pub setting which I did not like.It is not a gastro pub a welcoming drink pub or a restaurant.I did not like the snobby customers.

Generally avoid wine bar type places but was dragged in here.Despite my reservations a very decent well run place.Fantastic staff.Well thought out unusual menu -not cheap but you are not coming here for a cheap meal.Informality mixed a proffessional realxed ambience.Huge range of drinks.Comfortable surroundings.Very pleasant way to spend a few chilled out hours.You will be lucky to find a parking spot anywhere near.

Makes you wish you lived in Holmfirth even though it is miles from anywhere.Bands that used to be huge -big names here all the time at reasonable prices.Also they push ways of avoiding booking fees which is highly commendable.Toilets a nightmare.Good reasonably priced bar -Timothy Taylors on draught and always lots of staff on.Smaller quieter bar upstairs.Check the website.
