I will always return for Bibimbap. Not sure if they take reservation, I think it is run with a concept of papa’s store.

There is no reservation. Just look for any empty seat (there are not many especially during lunch hour), look at the menu list, and go to tell the cook what you want. But last time (31 January 2009) we went there, a girl came to take customer’s order. We, as usual, have shouted our orders in front of the kitchen.

Food taste: 5 Very Good. Especially curry duck and rendang.
Food variety: 3 Not that many but enough to satisfy the thirst of asian experience, from appetizer to dessert.
Price: 3 Reasonable for such quality and settings.
Mobility: Easy to reach by public and private transport.

Recommendation and comment:
We went many times to “Good Time” in Zehlendorf, we have never been in other two “Good Time” (There are three in Berlin). Every time we ordered the same dishes which we taste the best and never try other dishes because we are afraid they would spoil our already defined taste. But looking at other tables, all food seem enjoyable. Reservation is mandatory.

The last time we went there (31 January 2009), we were disappointed because our favorite “rendang” has been dropped out from the menu list. The guy said they have reviewed all menus ordered and since start of year 2009 they introduced new menu list containing most frequently ordered from previous years. Unfortunately, “rendang” is not among them.

Recommendation and comment:
Definitely not of the kind of “the one to die for”, but worth a try.

I was very surprised to find excellent Indonesian food in Germany. And it is buffet!!! The restaurant rotate their more than 100 kinds continuously, even we can ask our favorites. Buffet on Heaven!!! I sit (and ate) for 3 hrs there.

I tried all of these below for €13,95:
Appetizer:
1. soto ayam/chicken soup

Main course:
2. sate/meat on stick (ayam/chicken, babi/pork, kambing/lamb -- the best of sate, udang/shrimp)
3. gulai kambing/lamb gulasch
4. rendang sapi/beef gulasch
5. ayam garing/fried chicken
6. ayam panggang/grilled chicken
7. nasi goreng/fried rice
8. udang goreng/fried shrimp
9. ikan gurame goreng/fried Tilapia fish
10. capit kepiting/crab finger
11. kangkung cah tauco/vegetable

Dessert: pisang goreng bubur ketan hitam bubur mutiara cincau lychee

I miss: (because too full)
Kodok goreng/fried frog leg and more than hundred others.

Mobility: To reach Iserlohn by public transport is no fun. From Iserlohn train station, the walk is only 5 minutes away to Bali but allow 10 minutes walk back because you hardly can walk while fully loaded.

Recommendation and comment:
Reservation is mandatory if you don’t want to be among the 300 disappointed in that week.

The key is to know what to eat. I have visited it many times because I live nearby, a 7 minute walk. More often than not, I started my meal with appetizer and finished with (again) appetizer. They are cheap, delicious, and abundant (generous portion). Two appetizer equals a decent dinner.

Food variety: 2 Not many appetizer to choose from.
Price: 4 Cheap. Always 50% discount. Rather than a €2.50 doner kebab or two €1.50 bratwurst, a €3,50 appetizer is healthier. I chose appetizer which come with salad.
Mobility: Easy to reach, large parking area.

Recommendation and comments:
It is cheap. So far main courses were not as expected, that’s why I stick to appetizer. Certainly there are better places to experience mexican food. Here is just an alternative to doner kebab or bratwurst.

Reservation is not mandatory. I feel it taste the best in Hamburg.
