Small industrial unit on a fairly grim industrial estate producing some of the finest beers in the south of England. Gary Hayward started brewing here in 2004 and has consistently produced great beers. His American style IPAs are probably the best outside of the States. He also produces milds, porters and bitters, some of which are available in bottle.

Great little pub in the centre of Hertford. Brews on site, "OXTale" and "Laugh and Titter" have been sampled... both good. A good range of guest beers, Red Squirrel, Mighty Oak, York, Buntingford, etc, cycle friendly, simple food, real cider, what more could you ask for?

Getting there, needs to up the number of ales, get rid of the sparklers though, decent sounds, one of the better pubs in Islington....

Terrible service, good beer, beautiful building, lovely interior.
Three out of four, could someone fix the broken bit?

Music policy is a bit off, too loud, and they turn the lights down just as you get to the interesting article in the paper.
Beer is good and so is the food, but the reasons given above preclude our return. Sad.

Harvey’s only London pub, beautiful Victorian architecture, gorgeous beer, great pies, a gem. If the Market Porter is too full, as per, the wander down Borough High Street is well worth it, Harvey’s Best as it should be.

The Oakdale is a proper local boozer, owned by the Milton Brewery. www.individualpubs.co.uk Rob runs a great pub with great beers and a rather eclectic jukebox. Dog and bicycle friendly, Wii available and free wifi. All that's missing is the range of guests that the Pembury gets, com'on Steve share...
Now with added lizards and fish...
Now with fewer hand pumps, not a good idea Steve....
