Although the eatery is quite large overall, it is cleverly divided into much smaller alcoves and corners, making it the ideal spot for a date in intimate, private surroundings. Whatever you choose for your meal, try to leave a space afterwards for some baklava together with a drink of Greek wine off the dessert menu. Excellent.

The relaxed and extremely cultured ambiance creates a great venue for a date or to bring your Stateside visitors for a meal. Amongst the highlights of a comprehensive menu are: the lamb covered in olives, and also candied orange peel served along with carrots plus potatoes au gratin; and the venison ragout with beetroot dumplings. Madam Thu Trang’s also provides a takeaway service and an excellent delivery service too. The menu is comprehensive, providing a wide variety of Asian dishes, but the noodle offering of Vietnamese Pho is considered to be their specialty. If you really want to test your buds, try the Vindaloo and ask them for the spicy version! The ambiance and decor of this restaurant is unusual for an Indian restaurant—it’s more reminiscent of the Italian style cafe—but the grub is nonetheless excellent and more than compensates for any dodgy wallpaper.
