Well I have fear of the dentists (like many people) but these guys managed to get me over this. Very friendly and approachable surgery. Well set out comfortable waiting areas, good facilites, and most important gentle and understanding dentists!

Brilliant salon. Always friendly and welcoming and some fantastic colourists and stylists there. Prices vary greatly between different stylist so you certainly find one to suit your budget. Small amount of off street parking, but plenty of street parking nearby. Good range of professional hair products stocked. Added bonus of a beauty salon upstairs so pretty much a one stop shop.

One of our favourites in Norwich. Good lively atmosphere and great food to match. Don’t even imagine for one moment that you will manage three courses here, not a chance, they are HUGE portions. It’s not obligatory to wear the silly hats but I always do. Love the frozen margaritas, and the sangria, and the stuffed jalapenos and ….....well you get the drift. YUM!

Good traditional local pub. Excellent range of beers including some real ales. Frindly locals and staff. Even better, for a village local it has regular live music, not quite sure how they all fit in there but they manage it somehow. No nonsense place, just as a local should be. Drink, chat, listen to some good tunes…what more could you ask for?

Lovely little shop, if you need a gift for that person who’s difficult to buy for,(lets face it, we all know one of them!), its great. It’s packed full of lovely interesting bits from crystals to wooden signs, to jewellery. The only down point is the lack of parking, but then you can reward yourself after taking the short walk up the hill with a pressie for yourself from the shop!

Libby puts together the most amazing flower arrangements. Not just your average roses and lillies either, oh, no some really great original stuff as well. When it comes to wedding flowers, i can’t fault her. She listens to what you want and puts together a package just right for you….big or small. For my own wedding she even went way beyond the call of duty by actually putting my wedding cake together at the venue herself before she decorated it with flowers! My bouquet was amazin, she put some lovely herbs in there so it both looked and smelt great. Recommend her to anyone.

Nice atmosphere, well presented. Quick service….....gorgeous burger but….just a little too pricey for what it woz. Good for people watching outside Chapelfields!

Ah the Murderer’s. Popular pub in the centre of Norwich. Nice beer, good atmosphere, traditional feel, all around good boozer with great back room for private parties. Well recommended

Friendly local pub with great staff. Good place to meet the people of Gissing as it is the only pub in the village. Lovely looking old style pub with a great open fire. Pool table and quiz machine also available. Real Ale is very well kept, with normally 2 or 3 on tap at anyone time. Food is excellent, especially the fish on a Friday, large portions, chips and salad and a very reasonable price. Large marquee with lights and heat lamps for those smokers out there.

Sew Simple…what a fab place. Everything for the crafter and more. Specialises in sewing (obviously) and papercrafts. Not the cheapest place to get things but it more than makes up for this with its wide range and extremely helpful and knowledgable staff. Also holds a small range of beading and jewellery supplies, and a decent range of painting supplies. Also, you get to look around all the other great little shops at the centre…......have spent many happy hours there.(and far too much money! oh well, it’s all fun) oh yeah, if you are a craft addict like me, take advantage of the loyalty scheme.
