Nice cold beers to enjoy on the street patio in a quiet part of the old city. Offering Armenian food, and very proud of it, worth a visit for light lunch.

Good food for Chinese and also friendly and professional service. Choice was good having both Chinese and Thai dishes, but the Thai food was not as good. It was slightly on the overpriced side.

We had difficulty finding anywhere in St Austell that wasn't full or too expensive when booking 2 nights here.

It was reasonably priced, offers free wifi, and seemed well situated for the town on the map but we found car access challenging for anything other than a small car. One could not get into or out of the drive quickly and easily. Parking was tight and I'm not sure there are as many places as there are rooms.

The room was fine though the ensuite bathroom too cramped - sink almost over the toilet. Less emphasis on a 4-poster and more on space in the bathroom would have been preferred.

There seemed too many notices and "rules" posted about, but the lady we dealt with was very friendly and seemed quite relaxed, so not sure what was going on there.

Breakfast was good British fare and they have a lovely Alsatian who was as soft as a brush.

Great value set menu. Good food and excellent non-house local wines. A la carte also excellent though less value for money if you are a big eater.
