This library is so impressive you’ll literally lose days here!
There are several floors and plenty to look at. The family history section and archives are particually interesting. weekend are particulary busy and it can be difficuly to get onto a microfich machine. I would recommend going during the week. Staff are very helpful and are always willing to demonstrate anything you need. The building itself is impressive to walk round.

St peters square is much the same as all the other metrolink train stations and is relativly basic. There are two platforms which are raised above street lever and a few self ticket machines. You must ourchase a ticket before bording the metroling. The machines only accept coins and a few will accept notes,

Victoria station does not have any of the atmosphere picadilly has and is not as impressive. Picadilly is the main station in Manchester centre and few trains actually come into victoria in comparrison. The metrolink also runs through victoria and the station can get very busy during event at the MEN areans which can be accessed from within the train station.

I dont know what it is about piccadilly train station I love but I could sit for hours here watching people come and go. Its average size for a station in the centre of a town such as manchester. There are plenty of shops to visit in the station. and accessing a ticket is very fast and easy there are several fast ticket machines and the queue for the till normally moves very quickly.

Liverpool football club ground is Anfield.
There is an old football club staidum feeling to this place due to its proximity to the local houses.
During match days this area gets very busy and the police close off the streets prior to the match. a vast proportion of this area is permit only and it is well ticketed so ensure you dont park in one of these areas without a permit. Its well worth parking in an official match day car park.

Excellent University campus is well set out with a mini bus running beteen the two main sites. the stoke campus is the larger of the two which consists of the leek road site and the college road site both of which are very close to each other. there is a really friendly student feel to the place highly recommended

This train station is very small in comparison to others however there is the over priced cafe and the toilets are what you would evpect. There are only two platforms. this station can get very busy at peak times and seating is limited.

Forbidden Planet is the UK’s biggest chain of sci-fi/comic/geek stores. It took over Stoke’s Another World a few years back, and is different from most Forbidden Planet branches in that it’s primarily a computer games shop (at least downstairs). Most of the staff are mad on video games and look down on the comics and memorabilia stuff, which makes for an interesting but uncomfortable dynamic. Prices are in line with other Forbidden Planets - by which I mean, fairly expensive. But you’ll find stuff here you won’t find elsewhere. If you’re after Family Guy, Star Trek, stuff etc, this is the best place in Stoke to look.

this is a nice sized sainsburys and also has a very reasonably priced cafe. itens in store are more costly than other supermarkets however their own branded items are better qualitly than the asda and tesco counter parts. parking is ample but i seem to remember its on a pay and display which is refunded in store
