A veritable tardis of a restaurant, and popular to boot. The place extends for miles underground, so we didn't have to book to get a table, although you might. I had baccala which is cod (the shame!) in some of tuscan tomato sauce, and was probably one of the best things I've eaten this year. I'd give it five stars but it's fairly pricey, so four will do till next time...

Nice little resto and wine bar in the middle of Florence old town. Only had a quick drink here as we were too late for lunch (as ever). However it was cheap and cheerful.

This tiny little family restaurant is a gem. To this day (not all that long ago really, but), I've never had a bigger steak. When they brought out the Firenze-style beast other people in the place started laughing. Needless to say, we couldn't finish the monster, but I enjoyed it a lot. The owner and his daughter are really nice, and they have some top-class wine too. Highly recommended.

A superb wine bar outside of the main old town, and therefore, not at all filled with tourists either. We ended up coming back here again and again, not only for the free antipasti, but also because of the fantastic wine degustastion taking you all over Italy. If it were in Copenhagen, I'd be back every week!

Bored of Churches? Seen too much art? Sick of the architecture? Try this!
Cracking nightclub in central Florance with a great mix of tourists and locals. We liked this place so much we came back the next night! They also do karaoke, although I had to perform 'Sweet Child O’ Mine’ with blood pouring out of my head due to cracking it on the low ceilings in the toilets - you have been warned! Still, the song went down a storm and we stumbled home through the ancient streets happy… what the hell is a club like this doing in Florence?!
nikfry I think that is the officially world wide accepted format for 'Sweet child of mine’ in Karaoke version. Lol
