Leslies do a great haircut and there's a fantastic standby deal- haircut for £12 if you ring up in the morning for an evening appointment, or in the afternoon for an appointment the next morning (subect to availability). Staff friendly and great coffee and biscuits!

Fabric and curtain shop. They sell fabric by the metre and offer a curtain making service. Huge range of fabrics from the cheap and cheerful to the luxuriant and expensive. Curtains made to a high standard and not too expensive- around £160 plus cost of fabric and lining which compares well with other places.

Very nice food but a little overpriced and portions small- I feel that £4- £5 is a bit much to pay for a couple of mouthfuls or 3 prawns. They do have some good lunchtime deals on though and feels genuinely Spanish and decor lovely.

Excellent butchers. Expensive but the meat is really good quality and locally sourced. They also do some good deals where you can get 6 things for £20 (like a pound of bacon, dozen eggs, chicken breasts etc.) which is great value. Great to still have a proper local butchers in town given that so many have closed because of the supermarkets.

Lovely place, good menu and excellent service. Four stars only as the food was very good rather than outstanding but otherwise highly recommended. House wine was good too.

Really lovely restaurant. A la carte menu is expensive (£15-£20 for main course) but they do a fantastic early bird all week (including Fridays, maybe Saturdays too but not sure) from 5.45pm onwards. 2 courses for £12.95 and standard of food and service just as good. Table have to be vacated by 8pm for the full price paying folk
