ASK is a very basic restaurant; pizza, pasta, ice cream- nothing amazing. While you can't complain about the food, don't go if you want to be adventurous!
The service there really varies. The last time we were there we had a great waiter who was friendly and really bantered with the whole table, but more often than not the service has been a little cold. Many of the waiters are still at school, and I'm not saying that young people can't be polite, but they're certainly not giving a great impression here!
The food and wine isn't expensive however so generally for a non-special-occasion meal out I would come here again.

Noodlebar in High Wycombe is well known as a relaxed place where you can have a cheap, quiet meal at any time of day. It is often busy on Friday and Saturday nights when people have a meal there either after going to The Wycombe Swan next door or just before hitting the clubs that surround it.

Antelope

The Antelope is what it is- a pub with a dance floor! However what makes this place different is the atmosphere. The Antelope has hardcore regulars that have been frequenting for years, even before the new dance floor and dj booth were built, and also welcomes hoardes of youngsters too. The variety of customers they have makes this a great place to come.
Not only that, but the drinks aren't bad too if you're going out on a Friday or Saturday night. The bar staff are fantastic, the security are efficient (no hats allowed by the way) and if you're a student remember your NUS card!

The Sausage Tree

I love the sausage tree! The sausage tree serves, strangely enough, sausages. But not just any sausages- hundreds of sausages!
This gem is tucked away discreetly on Saffron Street in High Wycombe, but it's well worth checking out either with friends or family. It's like a traditional pub but has a bit of an Australian twist with the rugby on the telly and kangaroo, ostrich and sprinbok sausages! If you are a vegetarian however there are alternatives and they all serve delicious pies.
All reasonably priced with superb service.
