I agree with the last reviewer that there really is nothing like ordering fresh fish and having it cooked exactly to your taste while sipping wine. However, this is not the place to do it. The pate was ok, but followed by the most forlorn piece of salmon I have ever seen, smathered in a curdled hollandaise: it looked like it had been plated more than an hour before. The waiter was defensive, condescending and frosty. Credit is due for the wine list, which is expansive. Only go if it is to be a liquid lunch.
