I cannot say anything about overnight stays in Ascot House - pointless when living in Harrogate, but their restaurant produces very good food at very reasonable prices. Stephen Johnston who owns the hotel oversees most functions at the hotel and ensures everthing runs smoothly. The staff are attentive making certain the diners are given the best attention

Betty’s is not secret!! Not in Harrogate anyway. Betty’s provides “the best”. The cafe, on the face of it seems very expensive, but diners are not rushed - it is an ideal informal place for impressive meeting, if you want to take all afternoon over a coffee and good company, then that is what you do without being hassled to purchase more coffee or cakes. They boast using the finest ingredients carefully sourced in their produce.

The Pavilions have a room for nearly every occasion - they can provide excellent catering. They are nicely carpeted and curtained, so can be popular for weddings.

I have taken stands at the Harrogate Health and Healing shows for quite a few years - they are very popular because there is plenty of space and plenty of car parking space. There are pleasant lawns available if required, plenty of loos, I think there are at least two bars
