Dominos Pizza - Northampton

65 Harborough Road, Northampton, Northamptonshire NN2 7SH

27.11.2008

I am still making my mind up about this place, some domino’s are nice but others are not so nice.I have had some delivered stone cold and when i complained i just got a discount off my next order which i thought was a bit cheeky,if it were pizza hut they would of given me a full refund. But i guess that’s only one place and i cant bad mouth the rest.

Overall i think these pizzas are the best and my local domino’s sends out leaflets for freebies which is good, I think for the price you pay for the pizzas you should be getting the best.

There is a selection or starters for vegetarians and for meat lovers, there are a wide range of different bases and toppings and you can have the choice to start from scratch. if sharing with a partner you can have half one kind and the other side another which is good.

There are a nice variety of deserts and drinks but can vary from each domino’s as there all different and all have different offers available.

Lush Retail - Sheffield

63 Fargate, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S1 2HD

I really like lush. The smell is intoxicating. The products are very well made and come in a variety of smells. They are reasonably priced. The store is well layed out and the staff are polite. Perfect fro buying girly gifts.

Bishop Ullathorne R C Secondary School - Coventry

Leasowes Avenue, Coventry, West Midlands CV3 6BH

27.11.2008

This school is ok. The standards are high so your child is guaranteed a good education. The teachers are very good and the headmaster is lovely. unfortunately the school is in a rough area so it isnt the best or safest enviroment and some children are pretty rough. Overall the actual school is a nice place and the classrooms are a decent size.

pcarpenter Bishop Ullathorne is not in a rough area. It is located in a green wooded area behind the Kenilworth Road in Coventry which includes Coventry's millionaire row.

Wood Lane Fish Bar - Woodgate

93 Wood Lane, Birmingham, West Midlands B32 4AG

26.11.2008

This chippy is ok but not great. the size is so small a queue of 5 people goes out the door. Also i find the look of it unclean and disgusting. The staff have a bad attitude and dont care about customer satisfaction. The chips are the only goos thing. The food tastes quite nice and you wouldnt expect them to come from there. I’m not sure whether to recommend this chippy or not.

lee123lee123 I went to wood lane chippy and when I got home
I was just brozing the web and I was looking at different things as you do
and came across this review that some one had left about wood lane chippy

On entering the shop there was a big Q about 15 people.
This was ok as the food is fresh and must be good as it’s bizzy.
The shop was looked modern and clean all the staff had the same overalls on which were clean
(As some chippy’s IV been to all ware different overalls and look tacky)

The staff was all ok no bad manners like some one said just bizzy doing there thing
I had chicken meat on Nan with chips and fish and chips for the wife and donner burger for the bab it was all good and fresh only thing is not enough chilly on mine.
On leaving the shop I heard one customer say to another that the food is all ways hot and fresh from here.
That speaks for it self so Mr. Chippy man if you do come across this keep up the good work A 1 Food 5/5 from me

Do try the chicken meat on NAN bread its bloody lovely

once again thanx Mr. chippy man

Vue Cinemas - Birmingham

29 Star City, Watson Road East Nechells, Birmingham, West Midlands B7 5SB

26.11.2008

I love this cinema. I have only been there once as I do not live in birmingham but it was a really pleasant experience. The staff are polite and helpful. They have a lot of screens so there is not massive gaps between each showing of a film. the seats are comfortable and the screens are bag. it is very clean and looks new. They have all the facililties (toilets, candy king, food, etc.) . I would recommend this cinema.

Alton Towers - Stafford

Alton, Stafford, Staffordshire ST10 4DB

15.11.2008 (aktualisiert am 26.11.2008)

Alton Towers is a common day out. Its a favourite of both adults and children and there really is somethign for everyone.

Its nearly always busy but I suppose everywhere you go is the same. There are also the really lovely gardens and walks in the woods if you like that kind of thing, its not for me but my fiance loves it. Some of the rides i think are a bit boring, such as the Hex…I do feel cheated I had to queue up for that but its part of the experience I guess.

The Nemisis and Rita are great to mention a few, also the rapids is a favourite of ours and the kids! On top of the rides there are loads of places to eat to accomodate different tastes and other amusements (even id they do cost more money).

My one major critism for Alton Towers is the price, it really quite expensive and although its is worth the money it does limit thing if you then want to buy other thing inside, especially if you have kids and they want drinks and candy floss and to play the teddy bear machines, etc.

Over all, Alton Towers is a lovely day out ad they alsop have seasonal attarctions, scarefest at Halloween (so much fun, quite scarey though!) and firework displays etc, and I think definitly worht a vist.

On a slightly seperate note, the hotels are also pretty awesome!

Thorpe Park - Chertsey

Thorpe Park Staines Road, Staines Road, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 8PN

15.11.2008 (aktualisiert am 26.11.2008)

Good Points
Thorpe Park is excellent very easy to find your way around, very clean and great food.

Bad Points
Sounds really silly but can’t honestly think of any bad points my husband and I absolutely love the place.

General Comments
My husband and I went to Alton Towers yesterday for the first time, it was a complete and utter dissapointment. Travelled for 4 hours to get there and really couldn’t see any value for money whatsoever. Queued for an hour and three quarters to ride Air only to be turned away because it broke down. The photo’s for Oblivion wasn’t working so the photo pass we bought was refunded. Hardly anywhere to eat undercover. 2 hour queue for Nemisis which is nowhere as good as Nemesis at Thorpe Park, need I go on. Thorpe Park is fantastic rides are better and cleaner than Alton Towers. Give me Thorpe Park anyday.

Avenue Bowling Club (Coventry) - Coventry

Gaveston Road, Priorsfield, Coventry, West Midlands CV6 1GZ

26.11.2008

I’m not quite sure of what to say of this bowling alley. The alleys are a decent size but it would be better if there were more of them. there is adequate facilities. There are food places and arcades. The staff arent the best and they are not very polite. Overall i would say its not one of the best bowling alleys ever.

3 Store - Coventry

39-41 Upper Precinct, Coventry, West Midlands CV1 1NQ

23.11.2008

The 3 store on the upper precinct is a delightful store. They have pretty much all the phones you would want. The shop is a decent size and the staff are very polite but some dont have a clue what they are talkin about. They always have some sort of deal on so they are rarely overpriced. i think you would do well to buy your mobile from here.

Grange Farm Primary School - Coventry

Dewsbury Avenue, Coventry, West Midlands CV3 6NF

23.11.2008

Grange Farm is a lovely school. There is a new extended building for KS2 which provides a nice working enviroments. There are fairly large classrooms so the children arent cramped into a small room. My only complaint is that I think the hall is too small. The teachers are very nice too the children yet very professional. The school has very good marks and grades. I would recommend you to send your child there.
