A nice restaurant in a good location. The food is usually pretty good and the staff are friendly (but why the fake french accents!) although it does tend to get busy at lunch time which means the service can be really very slow. Not somewhere you can realistically go for an hours lunch. I also hate the way that they insist on telling you what the specials are even if you have already told them that you only want a coffee!

Really nice little restaurant with good quick service and fantastic food. Tapas is perfect for when you don’t quite know what you want and their lunch deals are excellent value for money. The place is pretty small, but isn’t cramped and even when it gets busy it is still a pleasant place to be.

Nice small and friendly. The drinks are good and the food is excellent. The bar staff are very polite and helpful which is unusual for a pub in Oxford. A great location for a last few drinks on a night out before heading back to the train station for the journey home. Oh and good coffee too.

Expensive, crowded, noisy and very unfriendly. First sentence says it all really, have been twice the first time the food was ok but nothing special and the second time was really bad. We had pre-ordered as a lare party and waited several hours for our food and when it did arrive it was terrible. The drinks are overpriced and nothing special and it tends to be filled with drunk posh students.

The food here is fantastic, even the desserts which don’t look or sound that great. Prices are ok and it is a really nice setting, but the wines are a bit ropey and the service can be dreadful. We were made to leave a deposit for our booking and then had to fight to get it (£50) taken off the bill at the end of the night. Food takes ages to come out and the tables aren’t actually big enough for this style of food.

Great budget chinese restaurant with quick service and tasty food. Really good value meal deals at lunch time which makes it perfect for a work lunch with colleagues. Portions aren’t huges, but then this is reflected in the pric - If I remember correctly it is only £5 for lunch which includes two courses and a drink. Chilli Garlic chicken wings are lush

The kind of shop that sells almost anything, but as others have said with argos right on the doorstep I’m not quite sure how it survives. The staff are always pleasant and they have a good range considering it is such a small shop. They often have good deals on electrical items and it’s nice to be able to get diy stuff in town.

I must admit that I really like this place. The food is great (if greasy) and really tasty although I doubt it does you health any good! Service can be a bit hit and miss, but the reasonable prices and fantastic food make up for any problems which aren’t a regular thing anyway. Recommend the crispy duck and the all you can eat deal!

I only travel to paddington because it is the way into London from where I live. It’s a large unfriendly place and I never quite feel safe. There aren’t anywhere like enough seats for the amount of people comming through and although I understand why they are missing, it is a real pain for there not to be any bins. The large open entrance to the station means it is very windy and cold in the winter.

Top rate zoo with loads of different animals in large, well kept enclosures. The times that I’ve been you have been able to feed the elephants and giraffes but I don’t think this is possible any more due to 'elf and safety’. The place is huge and it’s not really possible to do it justice in just one day. Big cats are fantastic. Reasonably priced with lots of parking.
