This is a great place to have a day out at with the children. You make your way up the hill an you have an encounter witht the dinasaurs guarding the toy museum The toy museum is at the top of the hill. They have toys which mums and dads may remeber they used to have when they were children and toys the children have nowadays.
Then its off to have a wonder around the castle where theres animals running freely (sheep, peococks and ducks). And to get an insight what it was really like in the old days.Theres also a gift shop if you want to buy a few bits to remember your experience by.
Argos - Stratford
58 The Broadway, Hackney, London E15 1NG
18.01.2009
Argos is a great store that sell everything you need for your dad to day life apart from clothes and shoes.
They sell toys, bedding, furniture, garden stuff and gift vouchers.
This argos is quite large with catalogues avaliable to browse through and the self checkers to make sure they have stock of the item that you want.
They also have self serve tills thats if you have a bank card to use.
When queuing up for your items it can be a long wait because they only have maybe two or three tills open at one time.
After this you have to take a seat until the number on your receipt is called out, this can take around 20 minutes.
They also have a seperate jewellery part where you can try it on (excluding earrings) and where you can purchase the item of jewellery you want to buy.
The staff are quite friendly and polite but you can get the odd one thats very rude.
Theres no where at all to park your car and pick up any larger items so its best to pay fro delivery.

The shop comprises of two shops knocked into one on one side theres all the clothing and a few pairs of shoes.

They sell alot of designer clothes at real great prices.
On the other side of the shop they sell all the designer clothes which are moschino, evisu, levis and ted baker and many more.
This is also where they have a few shelfs of shoes, boots and triners for sale.
The shop staff are very helpful and polite and sometimes if they havent got your size they will order it in for you.

Trocadero - Leicester Square
13 Coventry street, London W1D 7DH
18.01.2009
The trocadero is fantastic it has 5 or 6 floors.
The first and second floor are full of shops including claires accessories, a great sweet shop, and many stalls which are run by chinese people that sell chinese ornaments and stuff.
On level 3 and 4 theres arcades, every arcade game you can think of for example 2p machines, 10p machines, slot machines, car racing etc.
Theres also a bowling alley which is far to expensive £25 for 2 kids one game thats just so dear but its great fo the kids or if your in a large group and fancy something different then this isgood for you.
They also have a pub situated rightnext to the bowling alley, this is for adults only but there is a section for familys to sit in between the pub and the bowling alley.
Theres also the dodgems which is great for all ages you get in the car and just crash into each other which is great.
Theres a few sweet shops and little snack bars to have a soft drink and a bite to eat but they are all very pricey.
All in all this is a great day out for everyone to go and enjoy but it does cost a hell of a lot of money if you have children.
Yates Wine Lodges - Blackfriars
10 Broadway, London E15 4QS
18.01.2009
Yates is situated in the front of stratford shopping centre.
This yates sell alcohol and food at really decent prices.
Its not a bad place to go into in the day time but i wouldnt go in there of a friday or saturday as theres too much trouble and the staff seem to get very rude.
The music is great what they play throughout the day and its just a pleasant place to go too.
They have a few comfortable settees for people to really unwind on and they have loads of seating areas.
The toilets are upstairs but they do have a disabled toilet for those who cant use the stairs.
The prices are excellent.
I would reccommend this to go to in the daytime but not the evenings.
HMV UK - Stratford
Unit 3 The Mall Stratford Centre, London E15 1XA

This shop only opened a few years ago itssituated in startford centre long with many other shops.
HMV is great for dvd’s computer games, games consoles , calenders and books.
This Hmv has alot on offer as its always well stocked and very easy to locate what your looking for.
The staff are always polite and helpful whether your looking for something or you just need advice they seem to know what our talking about.
The tills are never really busy as when the store strts getting more customers coming through the door they get more staff to serve.
Great customer service and great returns policy.

The barking dog is situated a few doors away from barking station.
This is quite a large pub but no live entainment or music and no pool tables.
They have a few scrrens which show live football matchesad other type os sport.
They also have a few fruit machines scattered around the pub.
They sell food at the back of the pub which include light snacks or meals they are reasonably priced.
This is an ok pub to meet friends but not a pub for entertainment purposes or to stay in for the night.
