Nando’s is always high quality and very busy. It’s a cool place for large groups and families

Great if you want to grab a bite on your lunch break. The Jacket Potatoes are fantastic but they also sell sandwiches and pasties etc

Starbucks in Headingley is a really nice place to retire to after a long day at uni. The coffee and cakes are always good and the staff are very helpful

Tropical World is well worth a visit. It is very reasonable to get in and there is loads to see including meer kats, butterflies, lizards, terrapins etc! It is a really fun day out for kids and adults

A great restaurant to visit in the summer. It has a huge outdoor section which is great for lunch and a beer in the sun

This isn't actually my favourite shop but my girlfriend is mad about the place. It sells really unique stuff that is bright, clourful and wacky. It sells household products, jewellery, toys and more. Great for gifts!

Pizzamania is a really nice fresh place. It has a huge window looking out on to the busy city. There is always a lot of choice and it's really cheerful.

Wokmania is an all you can eat Chinese restaurant. Fizzy soft drinks are re-fillable which is a bonus. It is great for families and offers a wide choice of food however I wouldn't say it was as high quality as some of the takeaways I've had, however it is very reasonable

The courtyard serves great food in the day and by night becomes a really good night out! It is mainly outdoors but is heated. It is a really cool place to go and socialise (particularly in you first year of uni)
