Decent enough place to get a drink though I'm not sure if I would ever call it a wine bar. Coffee here is pretty good during the day and the ambience is nice enough.

This place is tiny but the creative director must be a clever one as they always seem to have great plays on here and manage to be very inventive with the space. 

the town hall - Bloomsbury

The whole of Bloomsbury looks regal and fantastic, without a doubt. This Town Hall simply adds to the loveliness of the whole area. 

Hampstead Town Hall - Belsize Park

Hampstead on the whole is quite pretty and the Town Hall does nothing to marr the vista. It's pretty standard as far as town halls go but Hampstead does have still have a town crier who will walk the street nearby occasionally. 

The Hope & Anchor - Islington

This is not a great pub by day or early eve but it's good enough when there's bands which I think is almost every night of the week or at least thursday to saturday. 

Retro Bar - Ladbroke Grove

Top bar, lovely interior, nice people, good place to be. It's not too pricey for this are either which is always a nice surprise. 

Capital Pleasure Boats - Tower Hill

I'd advise anyone to take a boat trip when in London as a visitor or to show off a bit if you have anyone visiting you. There's nothing particularly special or bad about this boats; they pretty much do what all of the others do. 

Curzon Cinema - Soho

I'm not really one to do cinemas but this one is nice enough if you're central and fancy seeing a film. I'd rather sit out and watch the people walking by personally. 

Forman's Smokehouse Gallery - Homerton

Forman's is spot on.. it supplies the best salmon and smoked bacon to cafe around east London and they've set up a high-end private member club for the Olympic period. 

Gladstone Park - Dollis Hill

Lovely park, quite small but clean and quite quiet some days. It's far out so unless you're in the area for some reason it's not really worth the trip on it's own.
