Tower Bridge - Bermondsey
Southwark, London SE1 2UP
07.11.2007
Tower Bridge it's another monument that falls under "my favourite bridges". The bridge is worth viewing when walking rather than by car. I walked it all and enjoyed the view of London, the river and the many professional buildings that always remind you of the activeness of London. The bridge it is without a doubt a must-see but even more its night view. I once saw it in the evening when going home by bus: the numerous lights in contrast with the dark make it a place of fantasy and magic. If you can, walk it, you will surely enjoy its full beauty. I like that bridge!!
Millennium Bridge - London
Upper Thames street, London EC4V 3PA

The Millennium Bridge is really a marvellous project that I consider worth seeing. People usually have the favourite colour or singer but I also have the favourite bridge, if not one of my favourite bridges. This long bridge is practically made for pedestrians and it crosses the river Thames connecting the two sides of London. How can you get there? Off Canon Street or Blackfriars tube station, on Upper Thames Street. I went there with my cousins when I first came here as a tourist. I could hardly breath but the view was amazing.

This is a little portuguese restarant located in Stockwell. The place is well located not too far from stocwell station. The place is not a royal pala, but the simplicity of its decor still makes it a nice place to go for lunch. The food was nice and the price not too expensive at all. I did not eat much becuase it was lunch time but I enjoied it still. The people are nice too.
Crystal Palace Dinosaurs - Crystal Palace
Thicket Road, Crystal Palace Park, London SE20 8DP
07.11.2007
Crystal Palace Park is another park worth visiting with children if you ever find the time. The place benefits of not only the National Sports Centre but also of Dinosaurs. No I haven't lost my marbles, but this park has reconstructions of dinosaurs in real size. Some on the land some on the lake. It is a wonderful show and children there thought they were real dinosaurs hiding from human beings. The place is ideal for a walk as I went there with a friend and her little brother and, if I remember right, there si also a playground near the dinosaurs' site. It is indeed a nice place to visit with children.
Green Park - Fulham

I once organised a little pyknic with my sister in Central London. We were around for shopping when we decided to go to Green Park to spend the rest of the afternoon. We went home, prepared few sandwiches and took also few books and my sketch book. Yes- I do enjoy drawing and painting a lot and I decided to immortalise the view of the park on that day and do a painting from it. What I liked about the park were these long walks lined by trees. The peace was everywhere. While my sister was reading, I was busy drawing and the inspiration was amazing. It is when I am in quiet place like this, painting or thinking, in central chaotic London, that I realize how beautiful this big city is.
Hyde Park - Kennington

Honestly I never thought that i could ever spend so much time sitting in a park eating and relaxing; but when it's about Hyde Park, I would not be surprised. This park is enormous and the vast green carpet of nature is just a paradisiacal view especially for those that adore nature. I was around there one Saturday because I was meant to work but then the job was cancelled. I spent the whole afternoon eating and relaxing. I had the chance o think about so many things because of the quietness around it. Although this park is based in central London, it seems as if it is not affected by the busy traffic that you would usually expect. The area is ideal for quiet afternoons or if you want to have some time by your self. I consider it a great spot for artists such as painters or writers for a love novel. The place in the day light is romantic; I wonder how it would look like in the evening.
Chessington World of Adventure - London
Chessington Park Chessington, London KT9 2NE
07.11.2007
Chessington is another wonderful place worth spending a whole day in. The site has also a zoo that unfortunately I did not have the chance to visit but I would like to in the future. Chessington however is ideal for family trips and there are few rides designed for relaxation such s the boats in the Land of the Dragons. I particularly enjoyed the Vampire and the Dragon's Fury. The first one is a train-like ride where your feet are held in the air and you spin around many inversions and the other is similar but the 4-seat keeps spinning on its own as it goes up and down the roller coaster. I remember my face on the picture when I was on the top ready to be thrown down the slope. My face was literally rapping up like a carpet. IT WAS EXTRIMELY EXCITING! if you don't know what to do for Ester? Go Chessington!!
Thorpe Park - Chertsey
Thorpe Park Staines Road, Staines Road, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 8PN

One of the most breath-taking places in the whole UK in my opinion. Thorpe Park is a fantastic park-adventure where i had one of the most unforgettable days.Great fun is an understatement. This park has so many rides but on of my favourite was Colossus: a train with many inversions.I was screaming from the beginning to the end but when the ride ended I wanted to queue again. No Way Out is another beautiful ride that I would encourage you to go on. It is basically a rollecoaster in the dark that goes backwards. Hope I didnt spoil your surprise but you shouldnt come out there with out trying this one. Trust me!!!The site is magnificent and there is everything for children to grandparents. The restaurants make the place more enjoyable, though you dont wanna risk to throw up when on a ride.I HAD GREAT FUN!I will definately return to it.

When I saw Niketown for the first time, I wanted to scream. I really like sport wear and this place has got it all. Trainers, track suits and sweatshirts. The "palace" is amazing. There are so much varieties of items distributed on FLOORS. It’s a one-day adventures guys! The women section is just WOW.I really would not mind working there just to get the discount on so much nice stuff. the Staff is really helpful an....some goodlooking too.
Los Locas - Covent Garden

Last week I went to this Mexican restaurant because I wanted to try something new . The environment was magnificent; the chairs, the lights’ effect and the decorations. Everything was designed to create a warm atmosphere. The food was really nice and not too expensive. I liked the chilli chicken and the potatoes with a special spicy sauce. It wasn’t too hot though. It is a pitty that the wonderful music started minutes before we left. In my opinion the place is ideal for a special night out.
