El Burai is the best place I know in Mitte to eat a quick and delicious meal. Everything is freshly made, tastes interesting and is miles away from your regular soaked-in-yoghurt-sauce falafil. Instead you get roasted almonds, home-made bean paste, and meat and vegetable grilled in a pan before your eyes. Recommendations from the menue: Tambol and Mogran if you like meat, Fool and Falafil for vegetarians.

Alles wird frisch zubereitet (hier ist das tatsächlich nicht nur so ein Spruch) und die Sachen schmecken nach was: geröstete Mandeln, frisch zubereitetes Bohnenmuß, in der Pfanne gegrilltes Fleisch und Gemüse, alles schmeckt irgendwie kompliziert und interessant und gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Es gibt auch garantiert keine Joghurt- oder Kräutersoße. Absolut kein Vergleich zu allen anderen Imbiss-Angeboten in nah und fern. Viel Auswahl auch für Vegetarier. Besondere Empfehlungen von der Karte: Tambol, Fool und Mogran.
