Baytrees is a great attraction for the town of Spalding and surrounding areas.

They sell every outdoor garden product you could imagine, not to mention pets and the cafe.

Baytree is most known for its Winter Wonderland season during Christmas. The business has decorated grottos with tall light-up trees and rides. You also get to see Santa!!

Gleed Boys’ School is a modern secondary school in the town of Spalding. It is for boys aged 11 - 16 and provides a wide variety of subjects including vocational study in and outside the school.

The Winsover CO-OP in Spalding town contains a food store, a home furnishings department, a travel agents with bureau de change, a post office and a coffee shop.

The food store is slightly more expensive compared to Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Tesco. However, being a co-operative business, customers have dividend shares. When you purchase goods, you collect points on the dividend card which equate to money. Normal rate is a penny in the pound for grocery.

The car park (shared with Lidl) is massive and free of charge. Maximum stay 2 hours. The CO-OP provdes cash back up to £50, has photocopying facilities and has a post box.

The Winsover CO-OP has been in Spalding for many many years and was re-built and re-opened in 1995. Since then, the store was shrunk to its current state with Lidl renting half of the property. It is situated next to the train station and a walk away from the bus station.

This is the place to be if you visit Spalding and like period history.

As a child, me and family used to visit Ayscoughfee nearly every month to play in the grounds.

From gardens, bowls, tennis courts to ice cream, birds and peacocks!
