This is the best bar in this part of Friedrichshain, there is no doubt about it. The service is great and so are the drinks and the music. The chairs outside are really comfortable and the street is calm. On the inside it's very cosy and you feel right at home right away. There are regular concerts by artists from all around the world wich is a nice touch to the place.

Went for an early brunch and was blown away with how bad and unfriendly the service was. 8:50€ each for me and my wife and 5 euros for our 20 months old toddler. We waited 10 minutes just to get a high chair for our son including us reminding them twice. Then we noticed they didn't have any hot food other than scrambled eggs and bacon. I'm not paying 8:50 for bacon, eggs, bread and cold cut. Apparently the hot food started at 12 but they failed to inform us about this when we made our order. We ordered drinks that we never received so we had to "enjoy" the brunch completely without drinks.

The only good thing I can say about it was that some of the cold cuts were really nice. But definitely not 8:50 nice!

If I were you I would run across the road to the modest, much nicer and friendlier place Intimes if you want brunch right around this part.

Best arab food in the neighborhood and the prices are really good. I'm guessing the place would still be successful if the prices were double...but don't tell the owner I said that.

The falafel with bread or the any of the halloumi dishes are usually my first choice.

I love this place, it has everything you can ask for. Opens early (I mean some people want to eat breakfast before 10AM), awesome and healthy food, nice location and possibly the friendliest service in the whole area. This is my first choice for breakfast in Friedrichshain at the moment.

Best Korean in Friedrichshain, possibly in Berlin. I've never understood why everybody goes to My when this place is in the same area. Charming family resturant. I would recommend getting a reservation, the place is pretty popular...for good reasons!

This is one my absolute favorites in Kreuzberg, at least when it comes to breakfast. A decent breakfast isn't that hard to find in Berlin, same thing goes for Coffee. But finding a place with great coffee of a lot of different kinds AND a huge selection of Breakfast is a lot harder and this is one of the few places that I've been to that delivers when it comes to this. I live in Friedrichshain and sometimes I go to Kreuzberg just to go to this place.

It's especially good to go here when you're a big group of people. Not only because they have quite a lot of seats but also since everybody should find something to their liking in the menu due to the big selection.

The only criticism I have is that the service can be a bit slow and it's not very uncommon that they forget your order, or just mess it up. But they are still friendly and that's really all I can ask for. I mean come on, it's Berlin! :)

The pasta and the service is just ok. But that doesn't really matter since the pizza will make forget any complaints you might have about this place. When you get a perfect pizza with good cutleries I don't think anything else matters. But maybe that's just me :)

I used to love this place but after so many bad experience from slow and arrogant service I've given up on the place. It's to bad because it used to be really good

Il Barista is a really friendly establishment with great coffee and cakes. If you're like me and are tired of the lack of creativity when it comes to sandwiches in Friedrichshain you might also appreciate the Croque Madame which is a variation of Croque Monsieur with a fried egg on top. Delicious!

Best sushi in Berlin in my book. Not the most creative sushi dishes you'll eat but if you just want really good plain sushi made by an experienced japanese sushi-chef, this is the place to go.
