Very nice hotel with roomy guest rooms. The included buffet breakfast and dinner was a nice touch. The common areas are pretty nice and include an outdoor courtyard with open and covered seating areas. Parking is indoors in the basement of the hotel. Don’t park in the private lot to the left of the hotel.

Location is good. Easily walk in to town.

Fantastic tiki bar. Our server was great and suggested many drinks which we just HAD to try. We spent a few hours and quite a few Kroner here. Time and money well spent!

This restaurant has a relaxing view of a marina. They offer large chairs and couches outdoors that look comfy. Unfortunately, they get quite uncomfortable after only a few minutes.

There is an extensive list of expensive cocktails, but I suggest you stick with beer. We sampled a frozen margarita and mint julep, both of which were poor examples.

The biggest problem with this place is the service is PAINFULLY slow. It was so slow, that I'm pretty sure a woman skipped on her bill after waiting too long. Expect to spend a long time here even if you're just coming for after dinner drinks.

Wow, what a bargain! I stayed here one night for only €38. For that price, I honestly didn't know what to expect, but the room was really quite nice. The bathroom was almost as large as the bedroom!

Everything was very clean and the bathroom was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. The room had a 32" LCD television, but only received CNN and a fuzzy BBC channel as far as english programming went.

My only complaint might be that there was no a/c in the room and parking in the garage cost an extra €10 per night. Overall, this hotel is a winner.

I've eaten quite a few sushi meals in Frankfurt and this is probably the best. In particular, the tuna was the most tender and fresh I've had since leaving New York. Unlike the numerous conveyor belt places in the city, the sushi here has a good fish-to-rice ratio.

I opted for the Sushi am Main Boat for dinner. It costs €38 and comes with a small portion of seaweed salad, a green salad, choice of soup, sushi boat, and dessert. Everything was very good. The boat comes with 6 pieces of nigiri sushi, 3 pieces of salmon roll, a california hand roll with salmon, and some sashimi pieces. It also comes with tempura. I think this is a good value. The a la carte prices for sushi were also very reasonable.

We came across Gasthaus zur Kammerburg by chance after following a long road detour. It turned out to be a very welcome surprise. The restaurant/hotel is situated in a quiet park-like setting. We stopped for lunch.

I had toast with pork, ham, mozzarella, tomatos, and pesto. It was very fresh and refreshing. A perfect lunch that wasn't too heavy.

The service outside was slow at times, but we're in no rush. Our waitress and another server we spoke to preferred to speak to us in english rather than our broken german. Overall, they were incredibly nice and made lunch that much better.

For whatever reason, this was one of only three sit-down restaurants open in town when I was visiting. The food was good enough to get at least 3 stars, but we had a roach visit our table towards the end of the meal. The restaurant seems pretty clean, so hopefully it was just an odd mishap. However, this is the main reason for my low review.

We chose one of the many set menus which includes soup, two main dishes to share, and dessert. The soup we had this night was like eggdrop with asparagus and tiny bits of crab.

For the main dishes, we got roast pork with bean sprouts and a spicy shrimp dish that actually had some spice to it. I would say these dishes were pretty average. Nothing fantastic, but certainly tasty. It's a shame about our critter encounter.

Had a very nice lunch here sitting outside along the river. The service was prompt and friendly.

The menu is printed in French, German, and English though our server was most familiar with French. Nevertheless, we had no problems getting exactly what we wanted. I got the veal cordon bleu and my friend ordered the whole trout. Both were cooked and served expertly. For lunch, I would say the portions are quite large.

Dessert was also very good.

A good place to hang out if you want some american-style cocktails. Long Island Iced Tea anyone?

The prices are expensive, but not unheard of for any hotel bar. During happy hour, you can get a lager for €2.50. This is about what you would pay anytime outside the hotel, but Champions is too convenient when staying at the Marriott.

Sometimes you get complimentary snacks at the bar, sometimes you don't. We ordered a plate of nachos one night but they took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. I expect this was just a mix-up since most other orders were filled quickly. At any rate, the nachos were good once they arrived.

Osaka is a very nice chinese buffet with sushi and mongolian grill. It's quite small, but they make the most of the space by using smaller steamer trays on the hot buffet. I actually think this is a good idea because the food seems fresher.

The sushi was actually very appealing for a buffet. I had many items, and was pleased with the quality. Next to the sushi was a wide range of asian salads such as kimchi and bean sprout salad.

They also have a mongolian grill with all the ingredients you would expect. However, the grill chef only seems to come out from the kitchen when there are a few plates for him to cook. Once, we waited about 10 minutes for our plates to be prepared.

Our Japanese waitress was incredibly nice and prompt with service. She had limited English skills, but was very interested in learning from us how to say various words.
