WAS BADGERED BY CHILDREN AND GRANDKIDS TO BUY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, WE WENT TO WILKINSONS AND I WAS SURPRISED AT THE RANGE AND LOW PRICES ON SALE, BOUGHT LIGHTS FOR GARDEN, INDOORS AND TREE + DECORATIONS ALL FOR LESS THAN £45, EVEN BOUGHT SOME SWEETS WHILE KIDS ETC WERE NOT LOOKING ALSO ON OFFER AT 2 TUBES FOR £2 [RRP-£1-49]
WILL DEFINATLEY RETURN FOR OTHER ITEMS NOT ONLY FOR XMAS BUT EVERYDAY GOODS

called last night [Nov 29th] for a drink on way home, from the outside it looks great but disappointed with ale and service, seems all they are bothered with is getting your money, no atmosphere been to worse before but will not be calling again, will drive to Snaith and enjoy a beer there

TOOK MY DAUGHTER ON THE LAST TWO OCCASSIONS I STOPPED HERE, SHE WAS BLOWN AWAY [SHE IS A FITNESS TRAINER AND NORMALLY STEERS CLEAR OF FISH AND CHIPS], THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN LEEDS NO MAKE THAT YORKSHIRE, BRILLIANT FRIENDLY SERVICE, PLENTY OF "SCRAPS" IF YOU LIKE THEM, GREAT SIZED FISH AND PLENTY OF CHIPS.

I LIKE THE CAYTON BAY SIGHT BUT HAVE A FEW ISSUES ABOUT THE LACK OF PAVING TO EVERY CARAVAN ESPECIALLY THOSE ON THE STEEP SLOPED AREAS OF THE SITE. LAST YEAR DURING THE HEAVY RAINS WE HAD THE SITE WAS IN PLACES VERY DANGEROUS TO WALK ON THE SATURATED GRASS TO GET TO YOUR CARAVAN DOOR, I SAW MANY PEOPLE [OLD AND YOUNG] SLIPPING AND FALLING BECAUSE THEY HAD TO "PADDLE" ACROSS THE GRASS INSTEAD OF HAVING A SOLID PATHWAY TO WALK ON TO THEIR CARAVAN. THIS WAS ESPECIALLY PREVELENT WHEN PEOPLE WERE UNLOADING THEIR CARS ON ARRIVAL AND HAVING TO WALK DOWN STEEP SLOPES TO THEIR CARAVAN--IF PATHS WERE FROM THE ROAD AND CAR PARKING AREAS TO THE DOORS THE PROBLEM WOULD NOT OCCUR, WHAT WOULD HEALTH AND SAFETY SAY? COME ON PARK RESORTS SPEND SOME MONEY AND MAKE IT SAFE FOR ALL

American themed diner on Morleys market street, serves alcohol, great american coffes, ice creams and good food. Went there on a Saturday evening to see a live rock n roll band, excellent night with live music a very good crowd of teddy boys and girls, small area for the chance to jive, fills up quickly but a great atmosphere. had some great american coffee and a massive burger with chips [would have fed two people]. very friendly staff

Took my daughters and grandchildren here for a meal, very good range of food, smaller portions for the kids, staff were not pushy even though they were fairly busy, the staff were very polite and the order was taken and the meal [pizza for the kids, large "family" sized pizza for the adults with side order] arrived within 10 minutes. food was well cooked, very tasty and service was friendly and very polite. we enjoyed a very good dinner and will be back again.
Well worth a visit especially if you are doing your shopping on the retail park

Fabulous food, went for a sunday lunch last weekend to this pub, ordered the steak and kidney pie with mashed potatoes, when the meal arrived at the table there was a large homemade pie with the mash as well as a bowl with cauliflower, carrots, peas, broccoli and parsnips as well as a nice thick onion gravy as served piping hot, excellent quality food and brilliant polite service, after this hearty feast the young lady who attending table asked if i had enjoyed my dinner, i said yes thank you to which she smiled [if only more people would be as polite and smile], i then ordered a small ice-cream sundae for afters, yet again service with a smile and great ice cream. All this for £7.95......
i left a tip for the young lady and departed, i shall return again to try something else from their dinner time menu.

THIS USED TO BE OUR FAVOURITE PUB IN THE EARLY 70`S WHEN WE USED THE BACK ROOM WITH ITS STAGE AS A ROCK N ROLL VENUE, ALWAYS HAD GREAT BEER, A WILD CROWD AND VERY LITTLE TROUBLE. DROPPED IN FOR A DRINK A FEW WEEKS AGO, STILL LOOKS THE SAME BUT UPDATED A BIT, STILL A DECENT ATMOSPHERE

Mick and all the staff enjoy being helpful, great beers, jack daniels, while the pub may be small there is live music most weekends and a least once a month there is a live rock n roll band on, the place is generally full on these nights when teds, rockers etc from around Yorkshire converge to enjoy a good night out. the inside is decorated with americanna nameplates, numberplates and fiftys style memrobillia, always clean and at new years eve a live band and free food were on offer to those who turned up, overall a great boozer.....

will be visiting here again this year, the Lacon reopened 2 years ago and i have enjoyed very well kept ales, great food and excellent service from superb friendly staff, plenty of seating both indoors and outside, a great little sunday market stores adjoining the pub.
