  Comfort Diner - New York

  The Comfort Diner has to be my favourite place to eat in New York. Upon walking through the door you feel like you’ve been transported back into the 60s - a real all-american diner, chrome glistening from every corner.

  The menu is all about comfort food. There’s a massive range of dishes to choose from, and every time I’ve been the portions have been mammoth and the quality fantastic. I would heartily recommend the chile con carne with nachos… superb. There’s also a selection of delicious milkshakes on the menu that tempt me every time.

  Desserts are equally impressive, though I have never managed to get through one of them without assistance. The homemade apple pie is the best I have ever had, and the snickers sundae is truly something to behold.

  Service is fantastic, and the food never takes too long to arrive. The prices are incredibly reasonable - I would happily pay twice as much if this place was over here in the UK!
