I can not recommend this company enough. Friendly, reliable and an excellent service. Every effort was made to ensure that everything i wanted was included and within my budget. Extremely happy with my new bathroom. LY

I find this bus service absolutely useless. I live in Stonehouse and yes they may be they only bus service that runs directly from Stonehouse to Hamilton and East Kilbride, but i would rather get the shed of a bus that runs to Strathaven and commute that way rather than use another Whitelaws bus. These buses are often late, the dirvers speed up and down to the point where i have seen people fall over on the bus and i am disgusted at the fact that under 5's are expected to pay a fare when Whitelaws are the only bus company that does so.

On the 28th April 2011, the 14.20 bus from Hamilton to Stonehouse never turned up and i was at the correct bus stop from 14.10. The next bus due in at 14.40 was 15 minutes late (yes traffic may be an issue), however the bus driver stood for a further 20 minutes having a conversation with the driver he was changing over with. With NO regard whatsoever for his waiting passengers. Furthermore, on the 3rd May the bus from East Kilbride to Stonehouse was due in at 16.01 and was early arriving to drop passengers off at the centre, before heading towards Hairmyres, but took 25 minutes to get to and from Hairmyres with no passengers on the bus either way. Then heading from Hamilton to Stonehouse the bus driver refused to pick up any passengers at on route bustops, stopping only to let passengers off, lord knows the reason for this. He then proceeded to stop the bus at Canderside Toll and sit for half an hour while he made a phonecall. 3 buses passed bound for Stonehouse at this point 2 of which had no passengers. This bus that left East Kilbride town centre at half past 4 did not reach its destination of Stonehouse until quater past 6 that evening. The bus driver made no attempt to explain why we had to stop at Canderside Toll while he took a phonecall, and considering the time and distance he was from the bus depot he could have postponed this call until then.

I would also like to state that i had 3 young children with me on that particular journey and i was not happy with the looks he directed at me when my children became unhappy for having to sit on a bus for almost 2 hours, when the journey is only meant to take 48 minutes. Before anyone states that there was traffic etc, there was none what so ever, and the roads were clear, surprisingly this includes Larkhall where it is normal to find queues of traffic. I think this bus service seriously needs to be looked at carefully as it is an absolute disgrace.
