Right here’s a split review, not sure what to lead on, the food or the accommodation, OK I’ll start with the positive.
The food here is excellent, the breakfasts for B&B are good, but the show stopper was the evening meal, their “Fine Dining” menu was delightful and for the quality of food it was good value at £18.50 for 2 courses, beautiful stuff, I throughly recommend eating here.
Right the now for our room, don’t get 'Room 4’, unless you don’t mind 13 hours a day of the kitchen extractor fan, starting at 10:00 and ending at 23:00, it’s fine if your out all the time but… There doesn’t seem to be any concession for this inconvenience, their Website says double rooms £75 per night but they charged us £85. OK they’ve had my money once…
Shame really as if it was not for our accommodation on those nights, they’d have got 5 stars from me.

This place is OK, but if you’ve never had Pie & Mash, this place may put you off it for good. As on some occasions I been here the pies seem to be nearly burnt on the top and soggy on the bottom, and I’ve ended up having 2 pies as they are quite small here.
This Victorian Fast Food is usually eaten with a spoon within 5 to 10 minutes, then your on your way.
At Lunchtime you may have to queue as it gets packed. It also does a roaring Take Away trade.

OK to go to if your near the Tate Modern, just think of it as a Meze Bar, Order a few each and a bottle of Restina and you should be happy. Don’t torture yourself with one of their disappointing Souvlaki wraps.

Noisy place in the evening, lots of hard drinkers have one for the road or rail. But you can usually find a seat, as people don’t stay that long. Of an afternoon it can be pleasant.
For a while, the men’s toilets were the worst I’ve seen in UK, for months they had plywood on the floor and 2 urinals are blocked off, the place smelt of urine, thankfully they’ve now fixed it.

This place is OK if you need to stop for a meal, didn’t like the soggy cold chips and burger was very dry.
I’d say drive on and find a Burger King
