The Ian Drury Bench - Richmond

Richmond park, Richmond, London TW10 5HX

03.08.2009

I was so pleased to hear about this remarkable place and rushed there as soon as i found out. I was suprised to find you could hear some of mr drurys amazing tunes and thouroughly enjoyed my visit there.

Royal Academy Of Arts - Mayfair

Burlington House Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0BD

03.08.2009

I like a veriaty of art and this place definatly quenches your thirst for art however i found it expensive and a little tedious waiting for people to move to other art pieces

Churchill Museum and the Cabinet War Rooms - St. James's

Clive Steps, King Charles Street, Westminster, London SW1A 2AQ

03.08.2009

If you love modern history and the world war periods then this place will be right up your alley. A great experience to learn alot about churchill and how life was 60 years ago. A great day out if nt a little expenseive but i reckon its worth every penny.

Science Museum - Knightsbridge

Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London SW7 2DD

03.08.2009

My second best museum in london is the science museum purely becuase i love the interaction here due to the fact that it makes learning more interesting and more likly to stick into your mind. A great place for school trips as there is lots of things for children to do i.e. simulators. Definatly a whole days experience.

The Natural History Museum - Knightsbridge

Cromwell Road,, South Kensington, London SW7 5BD

03.08.2009

This is my all time favourite museum as i cant get enough of it. I love the dinosaur models and the great details that have been put into them. With so many different areas with so much to do it is impossible to become bored especially children who can learn in a fun way. I cant praise this place enough i have had a great childhood coming here.

Richmond Park - Richmond

Richmond Park, London TW10 5HS

03.08.2009

I used to play rugby here sometimes against rossyln park and it was amazing especially with the deer running about near you. A great place for long walks to clear your mind or jogging. I have had many picnics here and have enjoyed everything but only when the weather is good:)

Kew Gardens - London

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Surrey, London TW9 3AB

03.08.2009

One word can describe kew gardens and that is “beautiful”. A great place to spend the whole day either by yourself or with the family. A skating ring in the winter and gorgeous flower shows in the summer. The scenery is literally breath taking espcially in the hot houses. Plenty of activities for the whole family so no one will get bored n this day out. A long walk around so bring pushchairs for babies.

Richmond Palace - Richmond

Old Palace Lane Bridge Boathouses, Richmond, London TW9 1PQ

03.08.2009

Truly a great experience especially with young children. The scenery is breath taking and very cheap thus making it a great deal to kill afew hours.

Harlequins Rugby League - Twickenham

The Stoop, Langhorn Drive, London TW2 7SX

03.08.2009

If you want to have a day of pure rugby glory with a amazing atmoshere then i suggest coming to the stoop to watch the harlequins. Even if your not a great rugby fan the bars inside and mobile beer sellers will ensure you have a great day. Make sure to check out the live bands after the match a must see.

Twickenham Stadium - Twickenham

London TW1 1DZ

03.08.2009

I have literally been here at least 30 times i absoloutly love the stadium and for those who share my love for rugby this is a must see. There is also a small rugby museum that is very educational and a shop with a wide veriaty of shirts(from all teams)and other rugy memorabilia. It can be quite manic to get through the crowds on the way home but the atomosphere is friendly and dispite people drinking there is not sense of threat.
