Definitely a fun place! I went here for my birthday and the bar staff and bouncers were SO nice. Honestly, I dont think I've ever met nicer ones.

You werent allowed to take your drink into the toilet which I thought was a bit random but anyway apart from that it was brilliant. I danced the night away to all the indie rock type music they played and there were some nice boys in there too.

Drinks were fairly priced and it was a good venue with a great atmosphere.

I love this shop. It's so cheap and you can find some really interesting food rather than just the run of the mill ones you get in supermarkets.

It's been a bit messy the last few times I've been in but I guess that's just because it's Christmas.

They have some really interesting German meats and strange juices. The shop also has household things though these are always random items you never knew you needed.

One bad thing is there is always massive queues for the tills. Even though there are plenty of tills they never seem to have enough people manning them which is really frustrating.

Good shop though, more interesting than other supermarkets.

The sandwiches are made right in front of you and you can choose what you want in them. They have a massive choice of the main thing like chicken or beef and then the sandwich goes along in a production line and you can add yummy fillings and sauces until it is exactly the way you want it.

Subway is great because you don't have to have anything you don't like in the sarnie and you can have extras of what you do.

It's around £2 a sandwich and you can upgrade by only a pound to make it a meal and get a drink and crisps with it.

The shop is clean and inviting and has a little area for dining in. And the sandwiches are SCRUMMY!!

A brilliant cinema with massive screens and loads of films to choose from. They have all the usual things for a cinema including nachos, hot dogs, sweets and crisps and, of course, popcorn.

They have loads of toilets and all the staff are really nice. If you're going in the evening there is loads of free parking along the sideroad and if not then it's right next to a huge multi storey car park.

A great cinema for all the family.

This is a great handy little shop. They always have loads of fruit and veg available outside and inside and all at much better prices than the supermarket. Friendly staff who are always willing to help and make sure you get what you want. They sell other foods as well as fruit and veg including bread and tinned goods from around the world.

They also have nuts and dried fruit as well. There is not any parking directly outside but you can park in the somerfield car park over the road.

I went to this bar at about 11 on a saturday night i think it was and it was SO packed. I finally managed to get through everyone to get to the skanky toilets downstairs and by the time I'd got through the queue and got back upstairs I just could not be bothered to queue at the bar.

Everyone was off their faces and they had obviously just let way too many people in, there was no room to move.

I dont know what it's like in the day but at night there was just way too many people, not enough space and definitely not enough toilet paper!

Snook is in fallowfield and offers the best cocktails i think. I had one - I think it was called jelly belly or something and it came with loads of sweets and chewies sticking out of it which made me very happy indeed!

They are about £5 each. This is a good place to go if you're just looking to go out for a drink as it's a nice and classy place. There are a few seats scattered about and a private little booth if you're lucky enough to bag that one. This has a curtain on it hiding you away from everyone else.

It takes a while to get served but thats because they are all handmade authentic cocktails.

There are bouncers on the door. There's a downstairs bit although I didnt see what was down there. The place is decorated really trendy in black and red. It's quite a small bar and seems a bit more exclusive even though it's actually not.

It's a bit different from everywhere else in Fallowfield which is definitely a good thing!

The Metropolitan is located in a wicked place in Didsbury. It is massive and has great outdoor seating available as well as plenty of room indoors.

There is a large conservatory so you can sit in there and look out on to everyone walking up and down the street. It is a little more expensive than other pubs in the area but that's because it's more of a restaurant. It is not as expensive as the two restaurants either side.

Even thought the place is so big there is still a great atmosphere in the bar and it means you have more space around your table and are not being annoyed by the next tables conversation or anything.

The food was great I had the chicken and it tasted great. There is a bouncer on the door all the time so you always feel safe in there.

A yummy place to go if you've got a little extra money to spend!

Footage is a great bar right in the middle of all the student halls and accomodation. They serve food and obviously more importantly plenty of drink.

They use a yellow card system here so that you can save money on all your purchases. There are plenty of big sofas to sit on if you get down there early on enough.

I did eat here once and didnt think too much of it - i had a sausage, cheese and onion sandwich and although i know it's not the most exciting thing in the world, they didnt make it any better. It was bland and boring.

This is definitely a chain pub, there more for the cheap pre party drinks than the atmosphere, style or food.

Kro bar is a great stylish place to go. It seems loads of students go here in between lectures though it is enjoyably busy well into the night.

It's a good place for smokers as there is plenty of room outside the front with benches and powerful heaters. You can watch the world going by. It's also a good distance from the train station so somewhere good to go if you have to get the last train home.

It was a little expensive but I think thats good as it distances it from all the other dirty cheap student bars and makes it a bit more classy and young professionals like it as well.

Good toilets upstairs and a wide range of drink make this an excellent place for drinking!
