I've had a fair amount of work and spent a fair amount of money at Funk and I and my wife have been very happy with everything that we've purchased there. To me, my sight is worth spending the extra money that it takes to buy something different and high quality as opposed to the chain stores that continue to pop up in München.
At the very least, check it out if you're looking for something different.

A definite favorite! The food and service are great and so are the prices. It's also one of the only places in München where I can get Cafe Su Da (the liquid crack of coffee).

I ate lunch at Wahaka today and can safely say that I'll be back. It's fresh, friendly and very tasty. You walk in, choose your meal and then you have a choice of meats, beans (refried or black) and sauces.
The woman running the place and her staff are super friendly and helpful as well as quite interested in knowing whether you are happy or not.
Like I said.... I'll be back.

This is the most non-Secondhand Sports store that I think I've ever seen. I'm not sure who shops here but the guy must make a mint because his prices on most 'used' things are more than they cost new. I'm not sure if he thinks he's running the German bicycle version of the Antiques Road Show but something I'd sell on EBay for 10 Euros he's often asking 50 Euros plus for. Bizarre! Thus... no stars (unfortunately, I can't leave no stars) for this guy or his customers.
The only good thing that I can say about this shop is it's location next to the Cinema München which gives you something to do while waiting for movies to start.
