Glasgow Hilton International

I was recently on a conference in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference center SECC and stayed in the Glasgow Hilton. It was quite convienient because Anderston Rail Station ist next to the Hilton from where the SECC or Glasgow Central can easily be reached. The Hotel is very close at M8 and the place is not very romantic. But downtown Glasgow with its shops and restaurants is well within walking distance.

The Hotel has a bar and a restaurant. I wasn't there but it seems to have also a spa. The rooms are quite nice and all services are good. There is also a parking garage, a few shops and a hairdresser. 

I enjoyed during the afternoons very much tea time in the executive lounge with scones, jam and clotted cream.
