Looking at the Chillis restaurant from outside, it did not seem different from any Mexican restaurant in town. However, the décor in Chillis makes it stand out as a one of the trendiest Mexican restaurants in town; colourful squared marble tables, leather chairs all arranged in beautiful rows. The designs that stood out were a train track with a steam train and the memorabilia on the wall.

The restaurant has two floors, the downstairs section had about 30 tables and each table has 4 chairs and its own compartment to give some privacy especially when the restaurant is full. However, some table has 6-8 chairs for large number of people. Going up the spiral stairs leads to the upper floor, which is just a large space that can be booked for functions that are catered for by the restaurant.

The restaurant was booked for a party that I went to and we had already chosen our menu before the day. We bought our drinks from the ground floor and made our way upstairs to our tables. The food was brought some 30 minutes after we were sat and it was quickly served to about 25 people. We were all able to eat our food together, which is not often the case, as you often have to drool when others are eating while you wait for your food. Desert was served shortly after the last plate was cleared.

The staffs were very efficient with the service they provided; the plates were cleared as soon you finished your food, even if you asked for a drink of water, it was brought very quickly. The food was tasty and the service good, I have always gone back for a good old fajita meal!!!
