The hotel is better, as I have expected. It is situated on the Boulevard Des Belges, opposite to the most beautiful park of Lyon - Parc de la Tête d'Or. The area, indeed, is the quietest area in Lyon. The Boulevard Des Belges is the street of villas and diplomatic representative buildings (including the consulate-general of Germany). The nearest metro station is 15 minutes on foot. The hotel has its own underground garage, what is not obligatory for most of French hotels.
The atmosphere in the hotel is very comfortable. The personnel are very polite and professional. The rooms are in good condition, but not renovated. We stayed in the Executive Suite. It is very comfortable and consists of the living room with sofa, bedroom with a French bed and a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and necessary and sufficient set of cookware.  It was very useful, because we invited friends and prepared something from French cuisine.  The breakfasts were standard, nothing to say in addition. But I can recommend this hotel as a very comfortable and nice place in Lyon.
