One tip for when you visit: spend the extra €6 and go for the fillet steak rather than the rump, or you’ll regret it when your friends food arrives!
A rump steak will set you back €23.50 and fillet is €30 or so, and the beer is pretty expensive (€5.10 for 0.5L of Erdinger). The steaks are amazing though and it’s well worth coming for the atmosphere alone really. The place is quite large, but each individual room is pretty small and so there is definitely a cosy feel.
Steaks all come with mushrooms & spinach and supposedly a choice between fried potatoes, fries & jacket potatoes, but we didn’t seem to be offered the choice. Thankfully they brought the fried potato option, which is what we all wanted anyway.
One last thing worth mentioning is that you really have to reserve a table, so as not to face disappointment when you find out that they’re full.
Overall I’d say it’s a little pricey, but definitely worth it for special occasions.
