QYPE*

The Fernsehturm (Television tower), called "Alex", is part of the former eastern sector of the German Capitol. Inside the building you can see typical elements of the socialist architecture of the late 1960s.
Riding up the tower (platform height about 200m) takes 40sec and costs 8,50 € / children and groups may differ. Sometimes it takes an hour or more to get to the cashiers desk, but the view is worth waiting.

The view of this traditional sightseeing must-have-visited-place is gorgeous, but you should really wait 'till you have a clear and bright day to really enjoy the view. Sitting in the restaurant and waiting until the sun goes down is a very special and great experience, especially when the lights in the city start going on.
