Dr. Bernhardt is a wonderful GP located quite centrally in Hamburg, just up from the main station. If you need a friendly English-speaking doctor, look no further than this man.
I've had two excellent experiences with him. The first getting my test results through and being told that carrying on drinking was fine.
The more important second was when he immediately called an ambulance and got me into hospital last week, despite the best efforts of the receptionists to make me wait whilst dying. He then also followed up with a phone call the next day to find out what had happened to me - I owe him a beer!
