I've only been to the Nachtasyl a handful of times, which is most certainly due to the location. To put it simply: if you live between Altona and Sternschanze, going to the Innenstadt for a drink or to go dancing is a seldom occurrence.
Yet: the Nachtasyl is worth the trip. The space is fantastic--large enough to avoid crowding, and with a heterogenous mix of people, from business types to the artsy set, to everything studentisch.
And--the espresso is some of the best in the city! For one euro!
