Frogner Park Vigeland Skulpturenpark, Oslo

The west-end Oslo community of Frogner has one of the city’s most-loved and most-used green parks. Housing hundreds of Gustav Vigeland’s later sculptures means that there’s an odd surreal feeling to the calmness; it is, if nothing else, an interesting park. Whether you want to lie in a shady green spot or wonder at the strange bronze figures everywhere, it makes a good retreat from urban life.

I was amazed to see this place on my recent trip to Oslo. So glad we made time to stop by there. The effect of so many sculptures in one place justs taggers the senses.
